This full time role includes providing exemplary pre-sales technical expertise through technical and product demonstrations, acting as a business resource to the customer and providing “industry expert” execute level selling practices with consistent communication. The Sales Engineer must also proactively drive Strategic and Enterprise account opportunities within key territory accounts. The Sales Engineer is the technical bridge between the company’s Enterprise Business Representatives, due to this it is vital that the chosen individual work in conjunction with Sales, Marketing and Product Managers.
What does the role involve?
The Sales Engineer is responsible for providing exemplary pre-sales support to the sales team, the Sales Engineer will also assist in driving new business from prospective and existing customer accounts. Responsibilities include organising, planning, directing and coordinating all aspects of technical pre-sales engagement for the prospect.
Can I apply?
- BS in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- Security analytics experience
- Minimum two years experience as a field systems engineer or consultant
- Hands on experience with ArcSight, SPLUNK, Net Witness, Q1 Radar, Nitro SIEM
- Knowledge of scripting languages like Python/Perl
